Undefeated lightweight contenders Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield III (19-0, 13 KOs) and “Prince” Lucas Bahdi (20-0, 15 KOs) will put their perfect records on the line for the WBA 135-pound title.

Schofield, 24, is coming off the biggest win of his career, stopping Tevin Farmer in the opening round of their scheduled 10-round bout at Honda Center in Anaheim in June 2025. The dominant performance marked a pivotal moment for Schofield, who is now setting his sights on a world title and establishing himself among the division’s elite.
“There’s been enough talk outside the ring, and now I’m ready to let my fists do the talking,” Schofield said. “I’ve worked my whole life for an opportunity like this, and I’m just one fight away from accomplishing my dream of becoming a world champion. I know Lucas Bahdi is coming to fight and will bring his best, but I’m prepared for whatever he brings. On October 10, it’s time to settle everything inside the ring and show the world that I belong at the top of the lightweight division. I’m coming to put on a show and leave Chicago as a world champion.”
The 32-year-old Bahdi, who defeated Roger Gutierrez in August 2025, is looking forward to October 10.

Golden Boy Chairman and CEO Oscar De La Hoya believes Schofield will win.

In the co-main event, Puerto Rico’s Oscar “El Pupilo” Collazo (15-0, 12 KOs) will move up two weight classes to challenge unified WBA and WBC world champion Ricardo “El Niño” Sandoval (27-2, 18 KOs) of Rialto, California.
More information on the undercard will be announced in the coming weeks.
