Lonzo Ball has now worn all the major sneaker brands during summer league. Ball wore Nike and Adidas in his last two summer league games. Tonight against the Nets, he decided to wear Under Armour. The 19-year-old rookie has recorded two triple-doubles during summer league, and is averaging 17 ppg & 9.8 apg in four games.
When asked if a big shoe brand can still sign Lonzo Ball, LaVar Ball told ESPN’s Darren Rovell the following:
“If the price is right. Quite frankly we are officially in the shoe game, and are a billion dollar brand either way.”
The Ball family is reportedly looking for a $1 billion shoe deal. If Lonzo Ball plays big time basketball in the regular season, the sneaker companies will definitely take notice.
Maybe after summer league ends, the sneaker companies will show Lonzo Ball the money!
