The Detroit Pistons needed to add a scoring punch off its bench, and on Monday, it became official that they added more shooting to their roster when they announced that the Pistons had acquired guard Isaiah Joe from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for two future second-round draft picks.
Joe, 27, posted a career-best campaign in 2025-26, averaging 11.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 46% from the field and 42% from three-point range across 71 games. Joe ranked fifth among all NBA players in 3-pointers off the bench last season, knocking down 157 threes.
The six-year NBA veteran was selected 49th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers out of Arkansas in the second round of the 2020 NBA Draft. He spent two seasons with the 76ers before arriving in Oklahoma City ahead of the 2022-23 season. In four seasons with the Thunder, Joe averaged 9.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.
Joe has appeared in 55 career playoff games across five postseasons, including Oklahoma City’s 2025 championship run, while averaging 4.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in playoff games.
