Aliyah Boston named Unrivaled DPOY

Phantom BC forward Aliyah Boston has been named the 2026 Defensive Player of the Year, Unrivaled announced on Saturday.

Boston set a new league single-season record with 29 blocks in 14 games for Phantom BC and ranked first in blocks per game (2.1).

She also finished second league-wide in total defensive rebounds (111) and third in defensive rebounds per game (7.9). Boston led Phantom BC in rebounds (136), blocks (29), and points off turnovers (39), while also setting club single-game records for points in a quarter, defensive rebounds, total rebounds, and blocks.

Averaging career highs of 18.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.1 blocked shots, Boston made a significant leap from her 2025 Unrivaled season, where she averaged 5.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 0.2 steals, and 0.4 blocks. She recorded six games with 20 or more points and ranked third in the league for double-doubles with seven.

Boston was also named second-team All-Unrivaled on Saturday.
