Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley will miss 1-3 weeks with a left calf strain, the team announced Tuesday.
According to the team, Mobley injured his left calf during Monday night’s win versus the Magic in Orlando, and a postgame evaluation revealed tightness in that area.
The reigning Defensive Player of the Year underwent an MRI in Cleveland that revealed the injury.
In the 114-98 win over the Magic, Mobley had 20 points and nine rebounds.
This season, Mobley is averaging 17.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks per contest.
Cleveland is still without Darius Garland(toe), and now they will be without Mobley for a few weeks.
The Cavs return to action on Wednesday night when they take on LeBron James and the Lakers.
