The Memphis Grizzlies will be without Ja Morant for at least three weeks after he suffered an elbow injury, the team announced Saturday.
Morant, who did not play in the Grizzlies’ loss to the Pelicans on Friday night, sustained a UCL sprain in his left elbow during the team’s loss against the Atlanta Hawks on January 21.
According to the Grizzlies, Morant is expected to make a full recovery, and further updates will be provided as appropriate.
This season, Morant is averaging 19.5 points and 8.1 assists per contest.
Memphis(18-25) returns to action on Sunday when they host the Nuggets.
