The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without forward Evan Mobley for 2-4 weeks with a Grade 1 calf strain, the team announced on Saturday.
Mobley, who injured his left calf during Friday night’s win over the Washington Wizards, will begin treatment. According to the team, after postgame evaluation due to tightness in Mobley’s calf, an MRI in Cleveland on Saturday revealed the injury.
In the win over the Wizards, Mobley had 23 points and 13 rebounds.
This season, the 2025 All-Star is averaging 19.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per contest.
Cleveland has battled injuries this season and has been without Jarrett Allen, who may return Sunday, Larry Nance Jr., and Sam Merrill since late November.
The Cavs return to action on Sunday when they host the Charlotte Hornets.
