Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played from Monday, November 17, through Sunday, November 23, the league announced Monday.
This is Mitchell’s ninth player of the week honor of his career and sixth time as a Cavalier, making him just the second player in franchise history to win the award six or more times (LeBron James – 42).
This past week, Mitchell led the Cavaliers to a 3-1 record, averaging a team-high 31.8 points (2nd-highest in East), 6.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.3 steals in 34.3 minutes per contest.
