The Memphis Grizzlies have signed forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper to a two-way contract, the team announced Thursday.
The Mavericks recently waived Prosper as they used the stretch provision to move on from the second-year forward.
Last season, in 52 games, the 23-year-old Prosper averaged 3.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.8 assists per contest.
The Montreal native has appeared in 92 games (five starts) and has averaged 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in 10.0 minutes in two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks since he was selected 24th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft.
His performance in the NBA G League with the Texas Legends during the 2023-24 season was particularly impressive. He started all 25 of his appearances and averaged 18.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steals in 32.9 minutes.
With his youth and athleticism, Prosper holds a promising future, making him a player worth keeping an eye on for the Grizzlies.
