Philadelphia 76ers guard Eric Gordon underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right wrist yesterday, the team announced Thursday.

According to the team, Gordon will be re-evaluated in approximately three months, and updates on his status will be provided as appropriate.

Since Gordon will be out for the next three months, there’s a good chance he won’t be back this season.

Gordon, 36, signed a one-year deal with the 76ers in July and last played on February 9.

In 39 games, the 17-year veteran is averaging 6.8 points per contest on 41% shooting from deep.

Gordon – the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year in 2016-17 – has averaged double-digit scoring in all 16 of his NBA seasons, joining Mike Conley, LeBron James, Brook Lopez, and Russell Westbrook as the only five players to have produced at least 10.0 points each year since 2008-09. He joins the 76ers, having registered 12.9 points on 45.0 percent shooting (37.6% 3FG) over the previous four seasons.

The 76ers(20-38), who have lost nine straight after falling to the Knicks on Wednesday night, return to action on Saturday night when they host the Warriors.
