On Thursday, the Dallas Mavericks announced that an MRI revealed a right wrist sprain for guard Luka Dončić.
According to the team, Dončić sustained the injury during the Mavericks’ game against New Orleans on Tuesday, and he will be reevaluated in one week.
This season, Doncic is averaging 28.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per contest.
The Mavs (8-7), who have gotten off to a slow start, have won three straight and will begin a three-game road trip in Denver against the Nuggets on Friday night.
