Memphis Grizzlies forward Vince Williams Jr. has been diagnosed with a Grade 3 right ankle sprain, the team announced Thursday.
Williams sustained the injury during the second quarter of the Grizzlies’ game against the Denver Nuggets on November 19.
According to the Grizzlies, he will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks, and updates will be provided as appropriate.
Memphis has battled injuries again this season, and they are currently without their second- leading scorer, Ja Morant.
Williams is averaging 5.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per contest this season. On Saturday night,Memphis (9-7) will travel to Chicago to play the Bulls.
