Atlanta Hawks Guard Trae Young, who sustained a left fifth finger torn ligament on Feb. 23 and underwent surgery on Feb. 27, had his one-month follow-up evaluation yesterday. Young is making progress in his recovery, the team announced on Tuesday.
According to the Hawks, he will introduce small finger motion exercises this week as the next step of his rehabilitation. His status will be updated as appropriate.
This season, Young, who missed the last 15 games, is averaging 26.4 points and 10.8 assists per contest.
Currently, the Hawks (32-39), who defeated the Celtics on Monday night, are the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference.
