Bills’ Damar Hamlin in critical condition after on-field collapse

A terrifying moment in the Bills-Bengals game Monday night in Cincinnati.

After making a tackle on Bengals WR Tee Higgins in the first quarter, Bills safety Damar Hamlin stood up and collapsed.

Hamlin, 24, was reportedly given CPR and was sent to a local hospital.

Players from both teams were noticeably shaken. Ultimately, after a delay, the NFLPA and the NFL agreed to postpone the game, according to a statement from the league.

No word on when the game will be continued.

According to the statement from the league, Hamlin received immediate medical attention on the field by team and independent medical staff, and local paramedics. He was then transported to a local hospital, where he is in critical condition.

Prayers out to Hamlin and his family.
