In a total shocker, Andy Ruiz(33-1, 22 KOs) Jr. stops Anthony Joshua(33-1, 21 KOs) in round 7 to capture Joshua’s three belts at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday night.
It was Joshua’s first time fighting on American soil, and the first time he suffered a loss as a pro. With the victory, Ruiz becomes the first Mexican-American heavyweight champion in the history of boxing.
