The biggest fight that can be made in the heavyweight division is Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua. However, the two sides could not come to an agreement, so on December 1 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, we will see the second biggest fight that can be made in the heavyweight division when Tyson Fury battles WBC heavyweight champion, Wilder.
Fury, who along with Wilder, made stops in London, New York City, and Los Angeles to promote their December 1 clash, believes Joshua would be easy work for Wilder.
“I think he is a big, weight lifting bum,” Fury recently said about Joshua on “The Breakfast Club” on Power 105.1 in New York City. “Listen, Anthony Joshua and Wilder if they ever fought, Wilder would knock him out in the first four rounds.
Also, Fury thinks Joshua would be easy fight for him as well.
“One-hundred percent, the easiest fight in the world for me is A.J. He will not fight me; he will not fight Wilder. They don’t want to fight anybody with a pulse. If anyone is going to fight, they’re going to fight for $50 million (reported offered made by Team Wilder to Joshua). Even Lennox Lewis said, ‘Take the fight.’ Let them do their own thing. The two best heavyweights in the world, at this moment, are willing to fight each other… At least we’re daring to be great.”
While Wilder-Joshua would have been great to see in December, Wilder-Fury is a great alternative. Hopefully, the winner of Wilder-Fury will fight Joshua at some point in 2019.
