LeBron James has another free agent decision to make. We’ll he stay with the hometown Cavs? We’ll he “Trust the Process” in Philly? Does he go to Los Angeles to join the Lakers? We’ll find out in the next few weeks, but if it were up to former NBA player Matt Barnes, LeBron would go to Los Angeles:
“I think he should go to the Lakers, man,” Barnes told TMZ Sports. “He’s got a couple houses out here. Lakers are on the way up. I think he should go to the Lakers.
“Come to L.A., man. Mess with Magic; help these young Lakers.”
If LeBron did go to Los Angeles, would it be enough to beat the Warriors or Rockets?
Unless the Lakers can get Kawhi Leonard, who reportedly wants out of San Antonio and would like to come to Los Angeles, or Paul George, who many believe wants to be with the Lakers, they do not have a shot to beat Golden State or Houston.
James will need some help if he wants to beat those two teams in Los Angeles.
The Lakers reportedly have enough cap space for two max contracts, so maybe they can make it all work. Plus, they have Magic Johnson running the show. Perhaps the “Magic Man” can use his magical powers to put it all together.
Let the madness begin!
