On Monday, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder(40-0, 39 KOs) and his team came out with the news that they have agreed to all the terms presented by Eddie Hearn, who is the promoter for IBF/WBA/IBO/WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua(21-0, 20 KOs). if the fight were to happen, it would be in the UK.
At this point, Joshua’s team has not responded, so we’ll see what happens moving forward.
International Boxing Hall of Famer and former heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe was one of the better heavyweights in the 90s. During his run, Bowe beat the likes of Evander Holyfield(twice), Andrew Golota, and many more. Bowe retired with a record of 43-1.
We recently caught up with Bowe, who believes that he could have beaten both Wilder and Joshua in his prime.
