WBA 130-pound champion Gervonta Davis looked spectacular when he stopped former champion Jesse Cuellar last month in Brooklyn.
After the fight, Davis said the following:
“I want the IBF belt back, and I’m ready to unify it with whoever wins the [Tevin] Farmer vs. [Billy] Dib fight,” Davis said.
However, Davis’ promoter Floyd Mayweather previously said that he would like to see Davis fight Vasyl Lomachenko next. However, it’s no secret that Davis and Mayweather are not on the same page.
If Davis were to fight Lomachenko, super middleweight contender J’Leon Love, who also with Mayweather Promotions, believes that Davis would have a legitimate shot to beat Loma.

Lomachenko would be a tough fight for Davis, but ‘Tank’ is a very talented fighter. So, if he can keep his focus, he could give Loma a very tough fight.
