WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn can’t get any respect. Even though he beat the great Manny Pacquiao last summer, in controversial fashion, Horn did fight hard and gave Pacquiao a very tough fight.
He did impossible once, but can he do it again? Horn may have a tougher test on June 9 when he battles unbeaten Terence Crawford(32-0, 23 KOs) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Many may doubt the Australian native; however, he expects to shock the world, again:
“Defending the world title successfully a second time is a must,” Horn(18-0-1, 12 KOs) said. “Crawford is a very talented fighter and deserves his accolades. I will be on a mission to prove the doubters wrong. Obviously, I am a very competitive guy who works really hard to achieve his goals. Crawford is a brilliant boxer, but I am coming to win, and I will win. Crawford’s trash talk has only inspired me that much more to shock the world once again.”
Horn, 30, is coming off an 11th-round stoppage of Gary Corcoran last December.
Horn has the heart, but not so sure he has the talent to beat Crawford, but we all said the same thing when he fought Pacquiao, and look what happened in that fight.
We’ll see if the world will be shocked again on June 9!
