The Cleveland Cavaliers are in an interesting place right now. Obviously, they are good enough to get to the NBA Finals, but they are not good enough to beat the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James is reportedly unhappy with the Cavs’ offseason, and at this point, I think the city of Cleveland should be unhappy as well.
Kyrie Irving talked to Sports Illustrated about the Cavs’ offseason:
“Like I said, we’re in a peculiar place. The best thing we can do is handle things with class and professionalism. Obviously we have a great owner that’s willing to spend a little money on guys that he believes in. At this point, we just see what happens throughout the summer.”
The Cavs were reportedly close to getting Paul George, but ultimately he was traded to OKC.
As Kyrie said, we all just have to see what happens throughout the summer.
