Cleveland Browns waive player hours before he was to throw out first pitch for Indians

Talk about savage! A few hours before he was set to throw out the first pitch for the Cleveland Indians, the Cleveland Browns waived S Tyvis Powell. Powell, who played at Ohio State and played for the Seahawks last season, was signed by the Browns after he was waived by Seattle in February.

According to ESPN, Powell is still expected to throw out the first pitch tonight at Progressive Field. According to Cleveland.com, the Browns were unaware that Powell was throwing out the first pitch for the Indians. The Indians start a three-game set against the White Sox tonight.

Wow! This is just awful!!
