Gennady Golovkin will have his biggest fight to date come September 16 against Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas. Golovkin, who is the favorite to beat Canelo, will have an opportunity to prove that he is the best in the middleweight division. However, the fight could have a little competition. Mayweather-McGregor could be made around that same time. While it’s a fight that some believe is a joke, including Golden Boy president Oscar De La Hoya, it is a fight that will sell a ton of pay-per-views.
Triple G sat down with TMZ Sports to discuss his upcoming fight with Canelo, Mayweather-McGregor, and Canelo-Chavez Jr.
