The NFL announced Tuesday that Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Alaric Jackson has been suspended without pay for two games for unsportsmanlike conduct following Monday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
After Los Angeles’ 37–34 OT loss, Jackson struck Buffalo linebacker Bradley Chubb in the face after a brief confrontation as players shook hands and exchanged jerseys.
Jackson, who can appeal the suspension, will be eligible to return to the Rams’ active roster on Monday, October 26, following the team’s October 18 game against the Arizona Cardinals and October 25 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The 28-year-old Jackson joined the Rams as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2021 and has spent all six NFL seasons with Los Angeles.
