Grizzlies’ Stewart to miss two weeks with ankle injury

The Memphis Grizzlies will be without center Isaiah Stewart due to a moderate left ankle sprain, the team announced Friday.
Stewart, 25, sustained the injury in the first quarter of the Grizzlies’ preseason road game against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.
According to the team, he will be reevaluated in two weeks.

The six-year veteran averaged 10.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and a career-high 1.6 blocks in 22.7 minutes last season, contributing as a key player for the Pistons. Defensively, he limited opponents to 59.3 percent shooting in the restricted area last season, which is third-best in the NBA.
