On Wednesday, Most Valuable Promotions announced MVPW-06 UK vs. USA, headlined by USA’s unified WBA and WBC super welterweight world champion Mikaela Mayer (22-2, 5 KOs) vs. the UK’s WBO super welterweight world champion Chantelle Cameron (22-1, 8 KOs).
The 10-round title unification bout will be contested with two-minute rounds at 154 pounds and takes place Saturday, August 29, at bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham, England(ESPN+).
MVPW-06 UK vs. USA will feature a main card entirely composed of UK vs. USA bouts. In the co-main event, London, UK’s unified WBC and WBO lightweight world champion Caroline Dubois will face the USA’s WBO #5 contender, two-time national champion, and reigning NABF lightweight champion Amelia Moore (4-0, 1 KO) in a 10-round unified championship defense at 135 pounds with two-minute rounds.
Reigning unified WBA and WBC super welterweight world champion at 154 pounds and the reigning WBO welterweight world champion at 147 pounds, Mayer, conquered a third weight class in October 2025, dominating Canadian star Mary Spencer over 10 rounds in Montreal to capture the WBA, WBC, and WBO junior middleweight titles.
“Chantelle Cameron has always been a name I’ve hoped to add to my resume and a fight I feel the sport of boxing deserves,” said Mayer. “With our come-forward, aggressive styles, I have no doubt that it will be one of the most exciting fights of our generation. Giving the fans the fights they wanna see is what I do best…so here you go. Again.”
Reigning WBO super welterweight world champion at 154 pounds, Cameron returned to the ring in July 2024, defeating Elhem Mekhaled to secure the WBC interim super lightweight title at 140 pounds, which she defended twice in November 2024 and on MVP’s Taylor vs. Serrano 3 in July 2025. Cameron then stepped up to 154 pounds to claim the then-vacant WBO super welterweight world title with a dominant defeat of Michaela Kotaskova in April 2026 on the main card of MVPW-01 in London. Cameron resides in Northampton, England, and trains under Jamie Moore and Nigel Travis.
“I am over the moon this fight has been made,” said Cameron. “I asked MVP for this fight, and they have delivered. I’ve always said I want the biggest fights in women’s boxing, and there isn’t a bigger fight right now than me against Mikaela Mayer. We’re both top-five pound-for-pound fighters, we’re both world champions, and we’re both coming to win.”
Dubois was elevated to become the WBC lightweight world champion in December 2024. In the headlining bout of MVPW-01 in April 2025, she successfully unified titles with then-WBO champion Terri Harper, becoming the new unified WBC and WBO lightweight world champion at 135 pounds.
“I’m excited to be fighting in the UK at home again,” said Dubois. “The crowd in London last time was incredible. I am looking forward to representing the UK on this card and defending my unified titles.”
Moore is an American lightweight boxer, two-time national amateur champion, and former member of Team USA. In March 2026, just her fourth pro fight, she captured the NABF lightweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Bonnie Hunter.
