Grizz give medical updates on Clarke, Edey, Pippen Jr.

On Wednesday, the Memphis Grizzlies announced the following medical updates:

Brandon Clarke is progressing well in his rehabilitation of a Grade 2 right calf strain that was sustained on Dec. 20 against the Washington Wizards.

Clarke, who appeared in two games this season, is expected to return to play in 4-6 weeks.

Zach Edey continues to recover from a stress reaction in his left ankle initially diagnosed on Dec. 11. Based on the unanimous recommendation of consulting experts, Edey will continue on his current plan of offloading and rehabilitation, with a reevaluation to follow in approximately six weeks, according to the team.

In 11 games this season, Edey is averaging 13.6 points and 11.1 rebounds per contest.

Scotty Pippen Jr. is progressing well in his recovery from a sesamoidectomy that was performed on Oct. 21 to address discomfort in his left great toe. Pippen Jr. is expected to return to play in 4-6 weeks, and further updates will be provided as appropriate.

Pippen has played in one game with the Grizzlies this season.

Memphis returns to action on Thursday when they play the Orlando Magic in Berlin, Germany.
