The NFL today announced the Week 18 schedule for Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 3-4.
Week 18 will begin with a Saturday doubleheader(ABC/ESPN). The Carolina Panthers will travel to Tampa to face the Buccaneers, followed by the Seattle Seahawks at the San Francisco 49ers.
The winner of the Panthers-Bucs will win the NFC South, while the Seahawks-49ers winner would capture the NFC West title and the number one seed in the NFC.
The loser of Panthers-Bucs would miss the playoffs. However, if the Bucs win, and the Falcons defeat the Saints, the Panthers would win the division. The loser between the Seahawks and 49ers would be one of the wild-card teams.
The regular season will conclude with the Baltimore Ravens battling the Pittsburgh Steelers on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. The winner wins the AFC North, and the loser is eliminated.
