Grizzlies’ Morant to miss two weeks with calf strain

Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant will miss at least two weeks with a Grade 1 right calf strain, the team announced Monday.

Morant suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Grizzlies’ road game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on November 15.

According to the Grizzlies, the 26-year-old Morant will be reevaluated in approximately two weeks.

This season, Morant is averaging 17.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per contest.

Memphis travels to San Antonio to play the Spurs on Tuesday.
