The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed center Thomas Bryant, the team announced Thursday.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, it’s a one-year deal.
Bryant, 28, appeared in 66 games for the Miami Heat (10 games) and the Indiana Pacers (56 games) during the 2024-25 season, averaging 6.5 points on .508 shooting from the field and 3.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per contest.
He also made a career-high 48 three-pointers last season. Additionally, Bryant appeared in a career-high 20 postseason games last season for Indiana en route to their appearance in the 2025 NBA Finals.
Over eight NBA seasons, Bryant has appeared in 333 regular-season games (146 starts) with the L.A. Lakers, Washington, Denver, Miami, and Indiana. He holds career averages of 8.9 points and 5.1 rebounds while shooting .582 from the field in 17.7 minutes.
Bryant was also a member of the Nuggets during their 2023 NBA Championship season.
He has played in some big games throughout his career and will provide the Cavs with some much-needed frontcourt depth.
With the addition of Bryant, Cleveland’s roster currently sits at 14 players with two Two-Way players.
