On Monday, Unrivaled announced the signing of USC’s JuJu Watkins, LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson, Azzi Fudd, and 11 other college players to NIL deals.
The other 11 players, each with their unique talents and backgrounds, are Lauren Betts (UCLA), Sienna Betts (UCLA), Madison Booker (Texas), Audi Crooks (Iowa State), MiLaysia Fulwiley (LSU), Hannah Hidalgo (Notre Dame), Ta’Niya Latson (South Carolina), Olivia Miles (TCU), Kiki Rice (UCLA), Sarah Strong (UConn), Syla Swords (Michigan).
This most recent venture builds on the league’s previous NIL partnerships with Paige Bueckers and Johnson. Notably, Watkins has also been affiliated with Unrivaled through her investment in the league as part of its Series A funding round, which was announced last December.
This class of athletes represents one of the most decorated groups in the collegiate game, with a combined 32 NCAA Tournament appearances, 25 Sweet 16 appearances, 14 Elite Eight appearances, 10 Final Four appearances, and 4 National Championships.
The 3×3 league, which debut in January, experienced significant success in its inaugural season, and these signings are a promising step towards its growth. With these talented athletes on board, the future looks bright for the league.
