The Philadelphia Eagles’ complete 2025 schedule was released on Thursday night. As we know, they will begin the season on Thursday, September 4, when they host the Dallas Cowboys, which will kick off the 2025 season.
The Eagles’ Week 2 game in Kansas City against the Chiefs is not just any regular game. It’s a rematch of Super Bowl 59, a game that will surely be marked on every fan’s calendar.
Philadelphia’s popularity in the NFL is evident as they are set to have at least five scheduled primetime games for the fourth straight year.
The Eagles’ preseason will kick off on August 7, with a home game against the Cincinnati Bengals. This will be the first of three preseason games for the Eagles.
Scheduling notes:
-For the first time in six years, Philadelphia will kick off the regular season at Lincoln Financial Field when they host the Dallas Cowboys in a Thursday night showdown. The Eagles’ last season opener at home was against Washington in 2019, when they won by a 32-27 score.
-Philadelphia will have the fourth-toughest schedule in terms of winning percentage (.561)
-The Eagles will their bye in Week 9.
-Four of the Eagles’ first five games will be against playoff teams(Chiefs, Rams, Buccaneers, and Broncos).
-Besides Sunday and Monday, the Eagles will have regular season games on Thursday(2), Friday, and Saturday in 2025.
-This season, the Eagles will not have any back-to-back home games.
-Philadelphia will host the Dallas Cowboys on kickoff weekend for just the second time in history, having also done so in the 1970 campaign. This will be the fifth Week 1 matchup between the Eagles and Cowboys (1970, 1972, 1976, and 2000). In the last season opener against Dallas in 2000, Philadelphia produced a 41-14 victory at Texas Stadium.
-The Eagles will face the Washington Commanders twice over the season’s final three weeks. The last time the division rivals squared off was in the 2024 NFC Championship Game, when Philadelphia set an NFL conference championship record with 55 points scored.
