Pistons’ Cunningham out vs. Cavs with calf contusion

Pistons All-Star guard Cade Cunningham is day-to-day after recent imaging revealed a left calf contusion, the team announced Friday.

According to the team, Cunningham, who missed the last two games, will miss tonight’s home game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and will continue his treatment regimen with the Pistons’ athletic training staff.  

The 23-year-old sustained during last week’s loss to the Mavericks.

This season, Cunningham is averaging career-highs in points(25.7) and assists(9.2).

The Pistons(41-32), who have won two straight, are currently the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.
