On Sunday, Unrivaled announced that Lunar Owls forward Napheesa Collier was named the 2025 Most Valuable Player.
She was named MVP after receiving the most combined votes from Unrivaled players and coaches, fans, and a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.
Behind Collier’s play, the Lunar Owls started the season 8-0 on the way to clinching the No. 1 overall seed in the Unrivaled Playoffs
“I couldn’t do any of this without my teammates,” Collier said in a press release. “This has been such an incredible season, and everyone played a part in our success, from the coaches and training staff to the staff behind the scenes. I’m so proud of this club and am honored to be the first-ever Unrivaled MVP.”
In Unrivaled’s inaugural season, Collier, a co-founder of the league, averaged 25.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and shot 61.3 percent from the floor in 14 games for the 13-1 Lunar Owls. Collier led Unrivaled in points, field goals made per game, and steals per game.
