Mavs give medical updates on Davis, Lively II, Gafford

On Friday, the Dallas Mavericks gave medical updates on forward/center Anthony Davis, centers Dereck Lively II, and Daniel Gafford:

According to the team, a recent re-evaluation of Davis, who has missed the last 10 games due to a left adductor strain, indicated that Davis is improving daily and has therefore been cleared for more dynamic on-court movements.

Lively II, who has missed the last 23 games due to a right ankle stress fracture, is progressing in his rehabilitation after a recent re-evaluation.

Going forward, both Lively, who has progressed to individual court work and Davis will be evaluated weekly with relevant updates to their status provided, as appropriate.

Gafford, who has missed the last nine games due to a right knee sprain, is showing progress and will be evaluated again in two weeks.

Dallas, who won’t have Kyrie Irving(torn ACL) for the rest of the season, host the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.
