On Tuesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced Dean Wade would miss at least two weeks due to a right knee bone bruise.
According to the team, the fifth-year forward will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks, following a series of treatment and rehabilitation. His status and return to basketball activities will be updated as appropriate.
Wade, who missed the past two games, sustained the right knee injury during the third quarter of the Cavaliers’ loss to the 76ers last Friday night.
This season, in 35 games, Wade is averaging 6.1 points and 5.1 rebounds.
The Cavs(37-9), who snapped their three-game losing streak on Monday after defeating the Pistons 110-91, return to action on Wednesday night when they travel to Miami to face the Heat.
