On Saturday night, the Dallas Mavericks announced that Mavericks forward/center Maxi Kleber sustained a right foot fracture during Saturday’s game against the Boston Celtics.
Kleber will be re-evaluated this week.
The 32-year-old injured his foot in the third quarter and did not return.
In the rematch of last season’s NBA Finals, the Mavericks lost to the Celtics 122-107.
Dallas(24-22) has battled injuries all season long. Luka Doncic(calf strain) has been out since Christmas, Kyrie Irving has been battling a back injury, and Dereck Lively(fractured ankle) will be out for at least a month.
Kleber averages 3.1 points and 2.8 rebounds this season in 19 minutes per game.
The Mavericks get back at it on Monday when they host the Washington Wizards.
