Mavs’ Kleber sidelined with torn hamstring

On Thursday, the Dallas Mavericks announced that forward Maxi Kleber suffered a tear of his right hamstring.

According to the Mavericks, Kleber, who missed Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers, suffered the injury at practice on December 13.

Treatment options are being considered. At this time, there is no timetable for Kleber’s return and updates will be given when appropriate, according to the team.

In 22 games this season, Kleber is averaging 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per contest.

Dallas hosts the Blazers on Friday night.
