Former NFL star and current Norfolk State football head coach Michael Vick has now been selected for induction into two Hall of Fame organizations in the span of a week.

The National High School Football Hall of Fame Foundation announced on Wednesday that Vick has been chosen to be honored and enshrined into the 2025 class of the National High School Football Hall of Fame.

The ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Zimmerman Symphony Center in Canton, Ohio.

A Newport News native, Vick rose to fame in the Hampton Roads area as the starting quarterback at Warwick High School. He compiled 4,846 yards and 43 touchdowns through the air for the Raiders, adding 1,048 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground.

One of the top recruits in the state of Virginia, Vick eventually attended Virginia Tech, where he became one of the most exciting players in the sport’s history. Last week, the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame selected Vick as a member of the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame Class.

Vick, who was recently named head coach at Norfolk State, spent 15 seasons in the NFL.
