On Friday, the Memphis Grizzlies announced a medical update on forward Vince Williams Jr.
According to the team, Williams Jr. continues to progress well in his recovery from a Grade 3 right ankle sprain that he sustained during the Grizzlies’ game against the Denver Nuggets on November 19. He is expected to return to play within 3-6 weeks. Further updates will be provided as appropriate.
This season, the 24-year-old is averaging 5.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per contest.
The Grizzlies(19-9) will travel to Atlanta to face the Hawks (14-14) on Saturday night.
