On Saturday, the Portland Trail Blazers received some bad news as they announced that guad Shaedon Sharpe has suffered a small posterior labral tear in his left shoulder, an MRI confirmed this week.
Sharpe, 21, will begin rehabilitation and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks, according to the team. With that time table, Sharpe will miss the entire preseason, and the start of the regular season.
Last season, the seventh pick in the 2022 NBA draft, averaged 15.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per contest.
Portland begins the preseason on Friday against the Clippers.
