Cavs announce Summer League roster

On Friday, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced its roster for the NBA Summer League that will compete in Las Vegas, July 12-22.

The 2024 team will feature a mix of familiar faces, including members of last year’s championship-winning summer league team.

The returning players, including Cavaliers guard Craig Porter Jr., 2023 draft pick Emoni Bates, 2022 draft pick Luke Travers, and former two-way player Pete Nance.

The team will also feature guard Jaylon Tyson, the No. 20 overall pick from the 2024 NBA Draft, and Cleveland Charge players Gabe Osabuohien, Zhaire Smith, and Dexter Dennis.

In addition, NC State’s undrafted rookie free agent, DJ Burns, will be a part of the team.

Entering his first season as an assistant coach with the Cavaliers, Jordan Ott will lead the team during the five-game schedule.
