Eagles have five primetime games in 2024

On Wednesday, the NFL announced the schedule for the 2024 season. While we knew the Philadelphia Eagles’ opponents, we now know when they will play each team next season.

As announced in April, the Eagles will begin the regular season against the Green Bay Packers in Brazil.

Scheduling highlights:

  • Philadelphia has five scheduled primetime contests for the third year in a row. The Eagles have appeared in the second-most primetime games (105) in the NFL since 2000.

  • Philadelphia will play four home games over the final five weeks of the regular season for the first time since 1951 (also occurred in 1933, 1934, 1944, 1945, 1947, and 1948).

  • Following a Sunday Night Football matchup on the road against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12, the Eagles will not have to travel by plane over the season’s last six weeks.

  • Four of Philly’s first six games are on the road.

  • In Week 9, former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson and the Jacksonville Jaguars come to the Linc.

  • Saquon Barkley will face off against his former team the New York Giants for the first time when the Eagles travel to MetLife Stadium to battle the Giants in Week 7.
