New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram had a scare on Thursday night. Ingram hyperextended his left knee during the third quarter of last night’s loss to the Orlando Magic.
The team announced on Friday that Ingram underwent an MRI after the injury, which revealed a left knee bone contusion.
According to the team, the 26-year-old will be re-evaluated in two weeks and additional updates will be appropriately provided.
Ingram is averaging 20.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per contest this season.
New Orleans (42-27), who has won three out of their last four games, will continue their four-game road trip in Miami against the Heat.
