Donovan Mitchell, who is currently battling a bruised knee, sustained a nasal fracture against the Houston Rockets on Saturday, the team announced on Tuesday.
The All-Star, who missed the team’s win over the Pacers on Monday, had a medical procedure to realign the affected area.
He will be reevaluated in approximately one week, and his status will be updated as appropriate, according to the team.
Mitchell recently missed seven games with a bruised knee.
The Cavs (43-25) return to action on Wednesday when they host the Miami Heat.
