There has not been a lot of good news for the Detroit Pistons this season, but they got some good news on Friday.
Cade Cunningham (left knee strain) has been cleared to resume basketball activities and will begin a ramp up for return to action. He is expected to return in the next 5-7 days.
Cunningham, 22, injured his knee on January 7 in the team’s loss to the Nuggets.
This season, the third-year guard is averaging 22.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per contest.
Detroit gets back in action on Saturday afternoon at home against the Bucks.
