Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanović (low-grade right calf strain) will not play in Sunday’s preseason game at home against the Suns; Bogdanović will be re-evaluated next week, and an update will be provided as appropriate, according to the team.
Last season, Bogdanović, 34, was the team’s leading scorer as he averaged 21.6 points per contest. He was lethal from deep as he shot 41% from three-point range.
Detroit begins the regular season on the road against the Eastern Conference champions, the Miami Heat.
