Embiid, Doncic, Antetokounmpo, Tatum, Gilgeous-Alexander make First-Team All-NBA

On Wednesday, the NBA announced the All-NBA teams for the 2022-23 season. League MVP Joel Embiid and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander made the All-NBA First Team for the first time in their careers.

All-NBA First Team:

Guard: Luka Doncic: He averaged a career-high (team-high) 32.4 points, a team-high 8.6 rebounds, a team-high 8.0 assists, a career-high (team-high) 1.4 steals and a career-high 36.2 minutes in 66 games (all starts) in 2022-23.

Guard: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Thunder

Forward: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks

Forward: Jayson Tatum, Celtics

Center: Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers: Led the NBA in scoring this season at 33.1 points per game, claiming his second scoring title in as many seasons.

All-NBA Second Team:

Guard: Stephen Curry, Warriors:

Guard: Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland Cavaliers; He averaged a career-high 28.3 points (7th-best in NBA), while shooting career-highs in field goal percentage (.484), three-point percentage (.386) and free-throw percentage (.867)

Forward: Jaylen Brown, Celtics

Forward: Jimmy Butler, Heat

Center: Nikola Jokic, Nuggets

All-NBA Third Team:

Guard: De’Aaron Fox, Kings

Guard: Damian Lillard, Trail Blazers

Forward: LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers: First player in league history to make an All-NBA  Team in 20th season.

Forward: Julius Randle, Knicks

Center: Domantas Sabonis, Kings
