76ers announce preseason schedule

The Philadelphia 76ers announced their 2022 preseason schedule on Friday, featuring four exhibition games.

The slate begins when the 76ers travel to Brooklyn on Monday, Oct.3, to take on Ben Simmons and the Nets at Barclays Center. 

The team then returns home to face Cleveland on Wednesday, Oct. 5, which will be followed by a second meeting with the Cavaliers at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, Oct. 10, on the road at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. 

Philadelphia’s preseason slate wraps up at home against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, Oct. 12.

The 76ers, led by Joel Embiid, re-signed James Harden, added Danuel House, P.J. Tucker, and D’Anthony Melton in the offseason. Philly hopes to make it to the Eastern Conference finals and NBA Finals for the first time since 2001.
