Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen is out indefinitely after fracturing his left middle finger, the team announced Monday.
No timetable has been set for his return to basketball activities, and his status will be updated as appropriate, according to the team.
Allen left Sunday’s win over the Raptors in the first quarter with a left quad contusion and did not return to action.
According to the team, he was later diagnosed with a left middle finger injury.
This season, the first time All-Star is averaging 16.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.
Cleveland(37-27) is currently without Caris LeVert(foot) and Rajon Rondo(toe) and will have to find ways to win without Allen.
The Cavs return to actions Tuesday night in Indiana against the Pacers.
